duquesne university is dedicated to providing an educational environment that supports our catholic, spiritan mission and values. this includes a profound respect for the dignity of each person, and a commitment to preserve and protect the physical, emotional and spiritual well-being of all members of the campus community.

Verbal, nonverbal or physical sexual misconduct of any kind will not be tolerated. It threatens this mission and is prohibited by local, state and federal laws, Title IX, by Duquesne's Student Policy on Sexual Violence and by TAP 31: University Policy on Sexual Misconduct and Gender Discrimination.

duquesne university has resources available on the left-hand menu to assist victims of sexual assault, and to help educate students about sexual misconduct.

体育彩票投注网360彩票as noted in previous university updates, the university's actions are intended to mitigate contact and potential spread by practicing social distancing in-place. per the centers for disease control and prevention, "social distancing measures can reduce virus transmission by decreasing the frequency and duration of social contact among persons of all ages. these measures are common-sense approaches to limiting face-to-face contact, which reduces person-to-person transmission."

Title IX Office Adjusts Procedures to Support University's Coronavirus Response

体育彩票投注网360彩票in response to the circumstances resulting from the coronavirus/covid-19, the title ix office has subsequently adjusted its procedures.

体育彩票投注网360彩票all members of the university community are encouraged to continue to access the title ix office for issues of sexual misconduct or gender discrimination. the office remains open to receive and process new reports, and all current investigations are continuing. all meetings are being held via zoom, and witnesses, complainants and respondents will be advised to ensure that they are in a private space for conversations.

although the university has shifted some of its operations, the university community is reminded that tap 31 continues to apply.
